Playing can be used as a common language and as a tool to produce new interactions that can generate new behaviors. Creating toys from architectural projects was a medium to foster interest in learning about the architecture practice while explaining concepts like modularity, flexibility, and repetition.
We play They play is a series of wood toys and pedagogic exercises that are part of a traveling exhibition. It introduces the public into a collaborative design methodology that includes playing as the main tactic to generate agreements between all the actors involved in an architecture project.
These research and exhibition design are a reflection about architecture as a dynamic element in constant transformation by the user, that through participative and inclusive design processes can be built, reproduced and embraced.
