Beyond a static sports scenario, this project is an interactive, highly configurable space, where users can transform the atmosphere within the canopy. Through a participative system, the canopy is a mediator for the community, providing a personalized experience according to each user’s demands and multiplying the range of possible activities within.

The canopy works as a modular system that changes through a set of devices like fans, water sprinklers, and adjustable lights. The temperature, humidity, and lighting of the ambient can be altered by its users through a smartphone app, changing the perception of the space itself.

The aim of this project was to create an open space that gave true relevance to the role of the community in the construction of a city. In this context, the buildings not only act as sports centers but also as tools for promoting any sort of ludic, academic, cultural and social activities.
